Q: DO YOU DO BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR HIRE?
A: Yes, our units are suitable for indoor and outdoor events. For indoor venues such as community centres, village halls, schools, nurseries and churches, please check dimensions available. Some of our units have built in rain covers, please see product for details.
Q: HOW DO I BOOK?

Q: CAN I BOOK LAST MINUTE?
A: Yes, however we advise to book early to avoid disappointment. In the summer months we recommend booking in advance and for Bank Holiday weekends you should book well in advance as castles are in heavy demand.
Q: HOW DO I PAY? WHAT SORT OF SURFACE DO YOU NEED FOR THE BOUNCY CASTLE?
A: Most people choose to pay COD (cash on delivery), BACS Payment/Card payment at least 2 working days before. We do not except cheques on the day of hire. Cheque payments need to be received in sufficient time for the funds to clear before the booking date. We also accept PAYPAL. Please Contact us for any further information.
Q: WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY BOOKING ?
A: You will receive the inflatable unit, electric blower, 25m extension lead, ground sheet, safety mats. The price includes set up, inflation and collection. You will need to provide a 240 volt main power supply.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?
A: Our bouncy castles are delivered on a sack barrow so we need clear access for this (at least 3ft). Make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles. We carry 25m extension cables so you should let us know if your power supply is further than this. You should also check that the area is free from debris, and clear up after any animals that you have had in your garden.
Q: HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN A BOUNCY CASTLES?
A: It takes between 10 and 15 minutes to set up a bouncy castle and approximately 20 minutes to take it down. NB: Large slides and obstacle courses can take a little longer.
Q: WHAT SORT OF SURFACE DO YOU NEED FOR THE BOUNCY CASTLE?
A: Bouncy castles, slides and our other inflatables situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are okay) so that they can be staked down. They cannot go on steep slopes or under low tress. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud. We may refuse to set up a castle if the ground is not in a suitable condition and would too long to clear. Please remember we have other deliveries to get to.
Q: HOW MUCH ROOM DO YOU NEED TO ERECT A BOUNCY CASTLE?
A: There should be a minimum of 5ft at the front and back of the unit, and a minimum of 2ft each side. If a unit has a slide on the side please allow approximately 7ft this includes crash mat.
Q: CAN WE MOVE THE BOUNCY CASTLE?
A: NO, for insurance and safety reasons once the Bouncy Castle has been delivered and installed and our staff have left, it must not be moved under any circumstances. Please see our full Terms & Conditions.
Q: DO I NEED TO KEEP THE BLOWER RUNNING?
A: YES, the blower must be running constantly whilst the Bouncy Castle, slide or inflatable is in use. If there is a sudden change in weather and there is strong winds or heavy rain just switch off the blower and let the unit deflate. Please ensure that all children are removed prior to switching off the blower.
Q: WHAT IF IT RAINS?
A: Most of our Bouncy Castles have built-in shower covers, so a shower or two is not problem. If the weather is going to be too bad (heavy rain/high winds) on the day of your party we do not charge for cancellations. Weather / Cancellations & Safety
Q: HOW SAFE IS IT?
A: The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision of the unit/inflatable and equipment, and the people using it at all times.
Q: HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE CASTLE?
A: We like to have all of our deliveries completed early in the morning so that you get a full days hire. Our collections are between 3.30pm and 8.30pm although later collections can be made for a surcharge. We need to have all of our collections completed before it gets dark - it's hard to pack away when we can't see all the equipment! When you make your booking we will talk about collection times and check the time of your party to make sure your collection fits around your arrangements.
Q: CAN I COLLECT THE CASTLE FROM YOU?
A: No for insurance and safety reasons we must deliver and install the equipment ourselves.
Q: DO YOU CARRY PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?
A: Yes Alpha Bouncy Castles carries 5M PLI, but it is important that hirer appreciates what this means. PLI covers ourselves against loss, damage or injury caused by inappropriate or unsafe setup, of fault equipment. IT DOES NOT protect against loss, damage or injury caused through either negligent use of the equipment, or altering any aspect of the setup after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur. Q: WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
A: You can cancel at anytime up to one day before the booking date. If the weather forecast is unfavourable on the day you/we have the right to cancel the booking before delivery is made. PLEASE NOTE: once you have accepted the delivery the full hire amount will be due.
Q: DO YOU HIRE TO FLATS & COMMUNAL GARDENS.
A: No we do not hire to flats or communal gardens unless we have written permission from the landlord.
